Chicago – Great Lakes NTC

As the home of Great Lakes Naval Training Station, the largest naval training center in the U.S., Lake County, Illinois is the perfect setting for your next military reunion. Located just north of Chicago, Lake County is full of world-class attractions, scenic destinations and relaxing venues and is easily accessible from nearby airports.  Tour the base, attend a graduation ceremony, break bread at the Port O’Call overlooking Lake Michigan, and visit the Great Lakes Naval Museum. Tour nearby historic Fort Sheridan or experience the Volo Car Museum’s Combat Zone military exhibit.  Enjoy a tram ride through the spectacular grounds at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
